First short (noir movie) - Un passo più lungo

Great! Omar, you did such a good work...i found "Un passo più lungo" a deep and solid work!

Omar that was excellent. If that was your first short. It was better than most people's final film project in film school. Keep it up.

Thank you very much! Do you think it is good just as first short or good (more or less) as short in general?

It was good in general but great considering it was your first short. I mean I seen a lot of student film making back in film school and a lot of them suck. Your film had a very nice style. The acting, the editing, the Dp work, the sound, music, all of them were outstanding. I know there were some meaning lost in translation, but don't worry it was still very good. It is only a short film and short films just showcase your talent and what you really can do, and you have done that successfully.

95 % of the critics probably couldn't make something better. :)

Thank you very much again!

I really liked the way it looked. I am a big noir fan. Did you do the black and white in camera or in post? If it was done in camera, what were your scene file settings?

black and white in post-production, through desaturation in FCP. Than I played with 3-way-colorcorrection. Anyway, my master pedestal (in camera) was high
