I was using my DVX100B today and the zoom control was working fine. I took it back out 10 minutes later, and the zoom button doesnt work!!! The main zoom control and the handheld zoom both do not work. When I manually zoom in, the zoom works. But the zoom buttons wont do a damn thing. This camera is only 2 months old. What could be the problem????

Please help

Note: I am a complete dumbass. Somehow the switch on the front of the cam was switched over to manual zoom. Dont know how it happened, but i figured out. Thanks

You also might want to try making sure that the leads are FULLY in their sockets. I also have a 100B with a varizoom controller. Just make sure those puppies are firmly in.

Other than that you should also make sure you are in auto focus and auto iris.

Hope that helps.

oh, wait. You never said you had a Varizoom controller. Disregard then. Sorry. Your camera sounds F-ed.
