City Skyline Footage Request

Hello there everyone, I'm writing with a request and offer. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there living in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, or New York, who would already have, or be willing to shoot some 1080 24P video of the downtown skylines of these cities. I would prefer these shots to be handheld (gentle, not jerky), daytime, I'd be willing to pay revostock.com prices for HD footage, $35 a shot, through paypal. Wide shots from closer to the downtown core, or longer lens shots from a distance away would be nice. Or wide from distance too, haha. Slight movement or panning shots from city to the downtown skyline could be great as well. A couple inner city shots would be great too. I just need shots! =)

I'm hoping that I'll be able to get in contact with people who are routinely going into these cities so they can simply stop off for a few minutes while traveling to or from other work. I would need to preview a smaller res file before payment.

Thanks, have a great day.

Stock Footage usualy runs about the $150.00 range per clip. I know Denver clips run about $300.00 per clip. The rarer the places the more expensive.

Yes I realize that, I know all about stock footage, all the websites, and all the prices, and I don't want to pay those prices. As my message stated I would like people who wouldn't have to go out of their way or already had the footage, and revostock.com is a stock footage website that sells 1080P footage for $35. It is new, but it is real and those are the prices. =) Since they are new, they don't have quite what I'm looking for so I figured I'd offer other people the money instead. If I like multiple shots someone might make an easy 70+ dollars. =) My quest continues.

Then you know you usually get what you pay for.
I'm thinking it's not so much of an issue of revostock being new but more of an issue of people that have stunning footage want more than $35 for it.

But, it sounds like you're more interested in getting cheap footage than good footage.

I'm sure you'll find someone that'll do it for the beer money.

Funny, I knew I'd get a 'get what you pay for'. And well...exactly. =) I'm not asking for epic aerial footage at golden hour. Another cheap price stock website is Globalcuts.com. They charge in the $50-$70 range for 10- 15 minute chunks of miniDV. If that site had more HD, I'd get everything from them. I guess it's more like documentary footage then anything, and that is precisely what I want, just with the higher res. It's a matter of taste but I find that half the time footage that is considered 'stunning' is just boring tripod camera pointed at something. I want energy and dynamics as well as composition/lighting.

Well, actually RevoStock has some quite stunning cityscapes, primarily HD timelapse shots. Unfortunately though, since we are new, no New York, Hong Kong or LA. However, we do have Dallas, Boston, and San Francisco and some very nice shots of each.
