Upload Here

I am trying to upload, but it says that the server closed the connection before it starts the upload.

I can see a couple of zip files already uploaded.

Is the ftp taking files?
 
hello. AAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!

all right. i'm using CyberDuck to upload. the file is 134mb and i get to about 40mb or so and it keeps disconnecting from the server. something about "broken pipe"
i have a slow connection here and it uploads at about 4-5 kb/s so that's 7 hours of uploading. i've tried 5 times now and the same thing happens each.


someone please help me.
 
Can one of the Mods make this a sticky for the 100+ folks that may be looking for it? I'd hate to miss out on watching someone's film because they didn't know where to look to upload. :beer:
 
I'm using fetch and I can't seem to connect. I will keep trying. Is it just being bombarded right now? Does anyone have any ideas?

Can we submit now and if there are technical problems or we have a better quality compression, submit a 'fix' later?
 
Haven't uploaded yet (not done compressing and zipping up) but will we be soon. I was wondering if we will be able to confirm the presence of our file on the server? Or is it setup write only?
 
I'm only home for a few hours today, I hope it clears up before I must go!

But we have till tomorrow at midnight, right?
 
We have until tomorrow at midnight... if we're around. I'm supposed to be out of town tomorrow. This process is going to take longer than the production of our movies.
 
I'm uploading now. I hope that the files are acceptable?

Jarred, will you be checking the files and letting us know if they're O.K. for presentation? The .mov and the .mpg 2?
 
Im grabbing them off the server now.. checking them as we go. Ill let you guys know if there was something screwed along the way.
