Timur and I just finished Color Correction. So now, except for a little tweak to one composite, the visuals are about done.

The only thing left is to work through the next draft of Herman's sound design, and once that is set, that should be it!

now if I can only figure out how to export to 16X9....

We are INCHES from being done. Just one more sound revision from Herman with a little added ADR I got last night, and BAM! Comin' atcha!

The word "genius" comes to mind or as Movie Master would say "genious".

I loved it! LOVED it! Totally worked in the scene.

all i have to say is this.

We asked herman to kick up a certian sound. At a crtical point. he replied with something to the effect of:

"You know i really cant get much more sound out of this peruvian pan flute... it just wont go higher..... also im not a master wit hthe instrument yet....."

Me and MArk with shocked faces were like.... YOURE PLAYING ALL THESE INSTRUIMENTS!!!!!! we thought he was doing it with a Synthesiser!!!!! CAuse he works so fast!!!!!

Thanks Matt. We are thrilled with what we came up with and think it will be pretty unique in the fest.

You're not in comp, just due to time limit? I forget and the reason wasn't at the top o f your thread. I think I read that, but can't remember...
 
Yep, due to my film being 10 minutes without credits and my promotion outside of the contest. I am attempting to create a workhorse film that will lead me to feature funding. Those are the reasons, and I am cool with it because I got enough funds to buy an HVX.

But back to your movie. You have an amazing group of people working on this and I am sure it truly remarkable!
