The step child of the DVX...the DVC 80

[mcornett]

I was hoping some one could point me in the right direction. I'm looking for any information about my DVC 80. I believe it's the same camera as the DVX 100. The only difference that I'm aware of is that it didn't shoot 24 or have a true 16 x 9 aspect.

Are there any ways to mod or adjust the DVC 80?? Thanks for any input.

Well, does it actually have the Scene File Dial? And it doesn't have cinegamma either.

the scene dial is there but no cinegamma settings just the normal settings master ped and chroma.

There are a few other small differences too. like no time-lapse. but with the 100b you dont get timelapse anyway.
