Thanks. Just got back (6am). Everything went well. We could have used a dedicated focus puller and some better dolly track. Had a blast though.

Well, the meeting went great! Thanks guys for coming, and for those that didn't, I realize (now) that Horrorfest is so close and people were busy putting the finishing touches on, but there will be a next time, just not sure when.

Blaine showed off a project he had worked on, Dave showed off his acting Skillz, Kelly showed off what he learned in rehab, and I showed that I have an apartment in N. Hwd - wasn't it beautiful?! ...or not. Hope the Sunchips were to your liking, were they overcooked? I'll have my wife work on that.

All in all, I loved seeing what others have accomplished and hearing about projects everyone is working on and towards! I will hopefully have more to bring to the table in the future, Thanks again guys!

LOL! ROFL! I was thinking the SAME thing, HAHA! We should bring our horror shorts to the next meeting and view them... since it'll be after the contest starts.
 
Well, I'm not going to be able to give a firm date on the next meeting - due to the fact I've really got to get some work coming in, but I would like to tentatively say 10/28, time TBD - don't hold me firm on that! I will follow up with more determinate times in the next couple weeks.
I hope we'll get to see some Horrorfest entries then, as well as other projects!

Oh, and Snodart, Blaine forced me with a gun to my head to check out your website, and I was extremely impressed! And Brandon, I still want to check out your stuff. If any of you guys want a tag-along on an upcoming project, or some help in areas of creative interest, please feel free to e-mail me! I would love to gain some more experience.

And on a side note - I do have a minor fun job coming up where I will be in charge of, and driving a cement truck (yes you read right) that will be branded to look like a can of Full Throttle energy drink, I have a photo, and if you might like to do something fun with it (spec commercial, funny skit, etc.), I would love to take advantage of the oppurtunity. I will have it for most of Oct. and Nov. so e-mail me and let me know, it could be hilarious!

Hey I have the guys at Birns and sawyer in Hollywood ready to host a "DVX"meeting. They have a digital projection room. What say you all???? Maybe dicuss it at your next meeting.

Hmm... LA meetings? This sounds like it might be interesting. How does one find out more about these?
