Is there a way to set the 100B to 24pa all the time?

Greetings,

I just received my DVX 100b and I am wondering if there is a way to set the camera to 24pa so that it doesn't default back to 60 when I turn it off. and then back on. Can I use one of the user buttons for that? Or is there another way? It would be more convenient not to have the camera revert back to 60 every time I power down and then back up as my entire project will be shot in 24pa.

First let me just say, take a little time and read the manual, it will help a ton, as well as Barry's book, if you got that as well. Now to your question, all you have to do is scroll all the way down to the end of the scene file and save your settings. Once it is saved it will always have whichever settings you chose for that specific scene file, including 24P, color matrix, chroma, sharpening etc.
 
Thank you both for the reply. I am about half way through the manual...juggling it and my 16 month old son! Don't have Barry's book yet, but I am due to receive it with the rebate and other goodies...hopefully soon.
