UPDATE....... BUSY AS HELL TRYING TO FINISH FILM!!!!!! :kali: :badputer: :furious3: :Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

VERY, VERY EXCITED WITH WORK IN PROGRESS........ :love4:

CAN'T WAIT TO PRESENT FINISHED WORK FOR YOUR VIEWING PLEASURE!!!

Ted, that's awesome man!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what you're bringing to the table... :):)

HELL-O HORROR FANS

Just quick update from Zen Den of Post Production....

Things are moving along.......

A couple of re-shoots fixed my continuity issues. (I LOVE the new shots BTW! Beautiful compositions!!! :) )

A couple of re-shoots fixed my storyline. (Having to act as the ACTOR as well as every other aspect of this production, I forgot to actually "ACT" in a couple of my shots! seriously. Missed the boat on that!)

A session of showing the work in progress to a dear friend is going to earn her an Associate Editor credit. (THANK YOU ALLEGRA!!!! :love4: )

AND, I pulled off the MOTHER LOAD.... I did my own RACK FOCUS while acting in the scene! Yep. Crazy!

I am going back to work on I.D. and will check in later!

Thank you all for the kind words and concern about my whereabouts! :dankk2:

I miss you all, man!

Can't wait to get this done, submitted and back on the boards!

Over and out -

Ted

Great News Ted! Can't wait to see I.D.!!!

ps. as for acting, when you see 'love is the most deceptive feeling' I will tell you in which scenes it was just me and my DVX....nobody else...talk about ego! loooooool

Ted -

As much as I miss your lengthy posts, I'm glad to see you are busy working on your project. Just because I haven't posted in a few days (except for the post above because I hit the wrong KEY - Duh!), I have been checking your *rants & raves* and cheering you on from a distance.

Keep going man, and I think I can speak for a lot of people when I say we're looking forward to your picture when it's done.

I'll be checking back soon, after I celebrate my *1 week* anniversary with my DVX100B!

Cheers -
Matt

I wanna see that! Which film is that? That's not your Horrorfest entry, right?

Thanks for the support. Looking forward to shooting the breeze with you soon!

How is The Door Between coming along? I need to find time to browse through the threads... but not right now! :)

I am REALLY looking forward to your flick... you've put a lot into it, and I am sure it'll show!
Hey B-Man! I miss chatting with you as well. Gotta wrap this up so I can hang online!

Did you get all of your vfx and score done? I could check your thread but no time right now!

Back to the basement to grab a shot that didn't quite match like I wanted it to!

And thanks for the words, man. I hope that people enjoy it. I am pretty proud considering that this is my first film and I've done this entirely on my own except for the one day with my guest actor! (You should see the hours of raw footage I have. It's ridiculous!!! And every shot starts and ends with me leaving the record button. NEVER AGAIN!!!) :)

UPDATE....

Okay, okay.... movie is moving along very nicely. I actually got to buy food and beer for a friend that helped me out!!! (YES!)

Try as I might, I just couldn't be in front of the camera and behind the mysterious door that pounds and rattles (and shimmies and shakes) all by itself! Uh! Did I just give away my plot??? Damn. :)

It was awesome having someone else to work with. Just listening to the dailies is fun because it was the first time that there is any conversations between takes (unless I was talking with myself, and that does happen!)

Anyway, I have some more GREAT LADDER RIGS to share. I will have to do that tomorrow when I get back from one of my REAL JOBS. (I actually get stage manage the NH Symphony Orchestra, so 8 times a year I get some nice music and a beefy pay check!)

Will post more tomorrow!

Ted

i remember those days having to hit the record button and run in front of the camera, next is getting your friends to act, then there's having friends who actually can act, to actually casting people you don't know.

good luck in post!
