Hi there. I was a little reluctant to repost this as I felt a little bruised from my spat with a moderator yesterday. However I've had some pm's from a few users asking me to repost with appropriate disclaimers, so here goes. I've had to post a new thread because the original thread is now closed.

And for those who wanted to see the offending image that was removed from my earlier post, here it is. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR THE WORKPLACE, CHILDREN OR ANYONE OFFENDED BY NUDITY.

Moderators please feel free to edit the title as appropriate.

There's more here, WARNING including the image that caused offence:

I was asked to repost with appropriate disclaimers to cover every base. Apparently the shot involving the frontal nudity might be deemed offensive to some age/faith groups so rather than risk offending again I thought I'd cover all bases.

As I said in my first post please edit my thread title appropriately if they think it's over the top. As Neil Rowe said yesterday, better to err on the side of caution.

I looked at that picture of him ten times before I saw the devil in the details. Nice comps, now you just need to get a better focus-puller. Skimping on your ACs will always cause trouble.

Thanks guys.

Do you mean in the 'offensive image' Overland?

great looking stills.......when do we get to see a trailer?

Not for a while there's a long road ahead...

Yeah, I was being sarcastic there. I completely missed what was in the background behind that headboard.

There is only two shots with cc and that's pics 3 + 4 which have just been touched up in Photoshop but none have been professionally cc'd yet. The 'offensive' shot has some cc but again just in Photoshop to see what it looks like with more saturated colors.

I have seen the scene featuring the 'offensive' shot graded professionally on a Da Vinci 2k and it looks great, and even then it hadn't had the full treatment. We won't be doing a full grade until we're have a locked cut though.

I'm really pleased with the HVX + M2, and our DP's not bad too! ;)

I thought so :)

Wow, whoever said anything about that must have been a horny TEEN or in a CULT.. I didn't even notice anything till I stared for a bit..

Dammit Booth! You got me all fired up to expect to see some honest to god HD boobies and all I get is some out of focus crap that I didn't even notice the first time.

I thought it was a mannequin at first. Seriously.

Anyway, the folks that have viewed the ongoing saga of this thread and it's questionable content, you now know what is not acceptable on DVXuser. I hope this will not deter anyone from posting their work. Hopefully, they'll just be more aware of the rules of the board.

All I have to say is the pay off was not worth the build up.
That's all you have to say... Hmmm nice and constructive.

So now I'm getting crap from people who want nudity... (sigh)

Thanks for talking some sense sir. I only did what was asked and you recognised that.

Indeed people, that 'out of focus crap' as David so politely put it is against the site's policy as I found the other day. Blame the rules not the poster...

looks to dark in interiors.
Please note that you're looking at ungraded stuff here.

We wanted those exteriors to be dark and if we want them brighter we can do it in the Da Vinci. Our colorist always told us to make it err on the side of darkness rather than brightness.

On the day of shooting I mentioned to the DP that they looked a little too dark but he said it would be okay. After seeing a few stills he was worried. After a visit to the place where we're doing the post-production he was more than happy.

Great to see the thread back and up again with more pictures. They all look great. Hope i didnt cause any hard feelings from complaining about the nudity last time
