My reel, opinions are needed! Thanks!

good stuff. I the only thing I would consider taking out are the interior letterboxed shots, they don't do anything for me personally, but your call.

I also didn't recognize the names (or words) that flash toward the beginning. Were those clients?

Thanks for the feedback. The interior shots I know aren't the best visually, but I thought I would put those in for people to see my directing/screen directon through the sequence of shots I have from that movie. Those words that flash in the beginning is my name, what I do, and Reel 2006. It is hard to see in the small compressed version so I uploaded a new higher resolution version.

Those are the names of the artists that are featured in the gallery, it was part of the credits of that video.

Ok, I uploaded a new version to the same link. Check it out, I took some people up on the advice they gave me.

I found the middle to be very strong, from body to mexico. I really liked those images and feel. The music is cool. I guess it is hard from POV because if the middle is strong to me than you are not starting off with a bang or ending on one. Just an opinion.

I also like your opening title.

Good Job!

yep, this is an improvement. The mexico and skating stuff look a lot more professional to me than the narrative clips that were there before. I just general like this one much better.

Interesting comment by Boomerang. I have to admit I agree although I wouldn't have notice if he didn't mention it. If you're not thuroughly frustrated yet, you MIGHT want to try one more version. Maybe Body at the end? The well lit shots of the mesouse(sp?) are my favorite.

Either way, much better

looks cool man. I like it. Diggin the 4wheel stuff too. Give ya credit for taking it out there to the dirt. I dont think id take my dvx offroading.

Pretty good stuff. I like the Time lapse in the beginning. Would have been nicer if it's a little longer, just a thought.
question: Is this a DP reel or Event Videography or Directing?

Good editing through out the whole thing. The camera work in the gallery was slick. The time lapse of the city was fantastic, I love those. I think what works really well in this is that it shows you can shoot and edit multiple things easily, from city shots at night to skating, 4 wheeling, body healing, etc. nice job
