HVX live video for a band that opened for Bloc Party

Wow, that was really damn good! Sweet edit as well!! How many cameras did you have there?

You have such a strong video there, the only thing I would get rid of is the first END OF FILM effect (around the point where they almost STOP playing).. it's just a bit out of place.. but thats just me bein picky, otherwise VERY VERY AMAZING! Great shot comps, and you used the stage lighting to a T.. I like the XL2 stuff, you fit it in WELL!

Great JOB! and the song wasn't bad either!
Keep up the great work!

Thanks a lot Justin!

Just two cameras, and I only used footage from the XL2 sporadically.

I actually shot another live video for another local Dallas band, Stellamaris, recently. It's a more "straightforward" video (i.e. not effects heavy, not a trillion edits, etc.) You can see it, as well as some other music videos I've done, at my Myspace page (don't worry, they're links to quicktime files, not streaming bullshit).

Check it out and thanks a lot for the comments!

looks pretty good, though the singing is out of sync. I also find the music sounds too clean for the image. It's too obvious that the live footage has nothing to do with the studio recording. If you cut some studio footage in the overall piece would gel better.
