Anyone interested in buying a redrock M2 adapter. Cinema lense set up (That's the set up with the PL mount for cinema film lenses, ARRI/COOKE, etc)
It's Brand new and has never been used or registered yet. I bought it directly from Red Rock Micro but I have never even opened the box after intially opening it to view the contents.
I've decieded that I will not use the adapter and I'm putting it up for sale because I can't return it. Email me if you have any questions. the advantage here is that If you buy my adapter from me, you do not have to wait for 2 to 3 months to get it.
At the moment Redrock sells the adapter for $1,565.00
I'm willing to cut a reasonable deal. Contacted me if your interested

do you have a link to the set up that you have for $1565 on the Redrock site?
also, is it just the adapter for sale? or does it include the Rod Support System as well? shim kit? fit on to an HVX200?

Its been confirmed by numurous members on the boards that the wait is down to 1 to 2 weeks to receive the adapters from RedRock Micro. Not hating on your sale, but people should know this information before purchasing from the marketplace , wait time should not be considered into factor too much now that RedRock has shortend the wait considerably.

And even if RedRock was still shipping at its old speed, it would be 4 to 6 weeks as stated by the site. 2 to 3 months is a bit exaggerated.

2-3 months was no an exaggeration. They must have retooled their manufacturing process as most of us waited 3 months and more for our order to be filled. I know from personal experience. I hope their newfound delivery success is made permanent, but their record justifies the warning. The 4-6 weeks on the site was just a tease and never accurate.

That's the link for the M2 Cinematographer Bundle for PL Cinema Lenses. I'm selling the entire thing as recieved. Never used in any shape form or fashion.
  • M2 Cinema Lens Adapter
  • Special M2 Achromatic lens
  • 15mm Rod Support System
  • Arriflex PL lens mount
  • M2 Cinematographer's cap
  • Power Supply
  • Carrying Case
  • I was not exagerating the wait time they told me that the cinema bundle takes longer than say the set up for Nikon lenses because they have to get the PL mounts from ARRI. If people got their set up in 2 week then that is amazing and I'm happy for them, but I'm almost positive they are not delivering the cinema bundle that fast. To answer the other question, no it does not include the shim kit as I did not buy the set up for an HD camera. This is the SD bundle.

NOTE: I am not asking $1565 for the Bundle. I'll sell it at a reasonable rate, I just do not see the point in holding on to a peice of equipment I'll most likely never use. I bought it to shoot my student film but I'm going to be shooting on film instead and I got excelent rental rates for a P/S technick Mini35 to shoot the video stuff with. I worked with the P/S technik and I am more comfortable with it.
