nono in all seriousness. It is really well editied and flows very smoothly. Not tomention the shots have a good consistent lighting flavour.

We make Manhole Jokes alot, but this film is actually serious. I am very very proud of it.

Agreed... well prepared actors don't need many takes... especially if you've read it through with them ahead of time... on SR we did 2... sometimes 3... rarely did we ever do more than 3 takes.
 
MArk is very much a professional, and takes his films and charachters however small a part, very serisouly. WE both tried our best ot be as organised as possible, and not only did we finihs ahead of schedule each day, but there were a few days where we were sitting there thinking.... "Hmm were done 2 hours early.... what else can we do?" And thats when we were able to start experimenting, and trying different thigns where i, mark, Shawn (who was ACing with me on two of the four days of shooting, shawn recomended some interesting angles that made it into the final cut, Thanks buddy.) or Steven would recognise an interesting angle, lighting anomoly, subtlety in the acting etc. then we would get an extra shot just in case. sometimes we used the extra footage sometimes we didint.

But Preperation is worth EVERY SINGLE ounce of energy that you put into it. its Golden. i refuse to ever work without being fully prepared ever again.

The only actors from Man-Hole are Godfrey(Chocolate Jackson from MHIV) and Sarah, who played his agent in the same movie. The rest were culled from Sarah Lawrence where Nina's a grad student theater director. Nothing like getting them trained, talented, and VERY eager to work for nothing!!! :)

So you did cast some of children parts for Bloody Mary from your adult-anal-sex-situation-comedy podcast which screen recently in NYC?

SCARY STUFF ME BROTHER. HE SOMETIMES SAY STUFF HE NOT KNOW ABOUT. HE TALK ABOUT MANHOLES. NOONE TALK ABOUT MANHOLES. NOT NORMAL PEOPLE. ME THINK SCARY, OFF HIS ROCKER. PLUS ME GOOD LOOKING ONE OF FAMILY. SO HE LOOK FOR MANHOLES CAUSE NO DEMON GIRLS DATE SCARY STUFF.

OUR DAD SMELLY STUFF, THINK HE WEIRD. HE SPEND ALL DAY ON INTERNET. THEN MAKE PORNO MOVIES ABOUT KILLING. HE HAS CUTE DOG THOUGH.

ANYWAY:

I just got a cool new toy called a Lens baby. its a bellows lens for the 35 adapter. it is like a tilt shift lens, in that it lets you selectivly focus parts o the image. This should be fun..... I smell posssible cut away shot with cool optical effect.
