Hey Kids,

Recently I posted in "Anything that can will go wrong!" that I finished my first movie of any kind, which in this case was a short that had the luck of lindsay lohan after being kissed by that no-name.

Then I posted an emergency thread where I asked for help in putting this film on a dvd with only 5hrs left to send it off to Sundance and if I missed the deadline that would have been it (I had already paid the fees and shipping charges).
Anyway, the conclusion was that DVXusers came to the rescue with the force of the Thundercats and coaxed me through it better than a Rep at DELL.

I pledge to all of you now, if i was ever at death's door (substitute Ravinesedge where applicable) I would tell the paramedics to leave me be, and for my wife to come here and ask how to perform emergency Lipo suction. I know you guys can do it. We have the technology!

In the end I was able to send my movie to Sundance on time and am here now thanking all those people who went above and beyond.

I am so glad that you were able to get those hurdles cleared. I felt your pain.

I tell you, this technology is amazing and overwhelming, all at once.

I am so glad that I stumbled onto your thread yesterday. (Was it only yesterday?)

Malcolm, I'm gonna paste the logline and Sinopsis straight out of "Withoutabox.com" and that way everyone will get a little more whats going on.

Logline
An Americanized young Arab has to make a choice between proving his love to a Terrorist Father or staying true to his country.


125-WORD SYNOPSIS.
Rich is a young Arab American that has lived his entire life in the United States and knows nothing of the culture his deceased Mother and estranged Father came from. On this particuler day Rich recieves a phone call from his Dad after 10 years of silence. Being a man deeply involved with 'the Cause' of the Middle East, his message turns out to be simple; 'Show your father how much you love him by doing something important for our cause.'
Now Rich is torn between finally doing something to gain the love of a Father he has never been able to satisfy or betraying the only people he has ever known and the only country he has ever loved.

I think that you've lost a day in all of this! But I completely understand how that is. Been there and done that! (The GlimmerGhost urgent message I resonded to was on Friday.... maybe there are 2 Ghosts out there! :) )

But anyway, love the concept for you movie. I hope it does well. Please keep us informed of its' progress!

Wow, I think you are right! Either way, thank you so much for the words of encouragement.
Actually, there are three Ghosts on this forum. Ravinesedge, Prodigy (who just went off to study and left us all by ourselves) and me. No i'm kidding, we just all live close to each other. Athos, Porthos and Athropos... wait... is it athropos or Aramis? I get the last one confused with the Fates, lol
