Music Video Grabs "Rain On Me"

[dwnsthballer]

Hey all,

Here are some CC'd grabs and a behind the scenes shot from the current music video I'm working on. The song is called "Rain On Me'". Our hardest challenge so far was doing the actual rain, but thanks to the searches I did on this forum, I was able to capture the rain right.

The only problem we ran into was a lack of flexibility with out setup during the rain scene because the hoses and the electrical outlets were in places that made it difficult to do right, but with some creativity, we pulled it off.

it looks GREAT! The last grab is beautiful. I especially appreciate the behind the scenes photo showing how you did it...wow. Great job, would love to see it in motion

[Evan S]

lol I feel bad for him.

[Steve_Arm]

Yes no pain no gain somehow.

[dwnsthballer]

Yeah, he was drenched after we finish, and to add on to that, it was quite chilly outside. But he sucked it up and did two good takes for us.

[Rubix³]

Nice work. Looks really good.

Are those first three squeeze mode?

[dwnsthballer]

Nope, just lettereboxed.

[jgastelb]

What kind of lights are those?

[dwnsthballer]

Two 750w tota lights by Lowel.

In the foreground, I also had a 250w pro light from Lowel.

[varuj]

when can you post the real thing

[dwnsthballer]

I'm still waiting to get about 3 more scenes done. I have to wait on the word of my producer on whether we can get a church or not to let us shoot in it. Depending on that, possibly this week or sometime next week or after they let us in the church.

[Brandon Rice]

That last grab is spectacular.
