more experimenting - Freezer Burn Night Ext. Stills

Hey yet again. Here are some more higher master pedestals stills. These are from a Feature called Freezer Burn. This is from a night exterior shoot to try and make a cut for Sundance by Sept. 25th deadline. Some info

DVX 100 (although most of the feature was shot on the 100a)
master pedestal +2
Iris -2
Detail -3

uncorrected stills are located underneath
lighting:
2K open with Chimera
1K Fresnel with 1/2 blue
2K Fresnel - three silver boards bouncing the light onto parts of the background
our set-up time was 35 minutes - we had only 30 minutes to shoot the whole scene....I wish we had more time.

oh - and the girl is 16 and no I do not have her phone number (Ella Rae Peck - she is a very good actress)

that was funny...nice shots. i however would've made it seem the source light was the pole to the left. maybe hang your key light there and then build from that. looks good though.
 
Those shots look nice... and yeah, um, the girl is very pretty. And she can act too, awesome! Looking forward to seeing more from this film.
 
lights were rentals - about 150.00 for the lot. Power was from the adjoining building from 20 amp outlets.
 
thanks for all the feeback guys. I think this method helps to define the planes between light and shadow. I do think that using hard units is probably the best way to use this technique.
