HVX100 and HD100 spotted on Mindfreak

I just finished watching the new season of Mindfreak and they've replaced their DVX100 with an HVX (I could tell by the 16x9 lens hood). The other camera was a shoulder mounted model and looked like an HD100 from it's size and shape. If you look at the camera they used last season (they did a last season re-run right after the new ep.) it was much bigger and bulkier and it wasn't a Canon so that leaves the HD100.

Actually there are a multitude of camera that it could be, there are many more cameras used in broadcast than are discussed in these forums =o)

How can you tell by seeing a camera if it is HD? The logo? Many shows use the SDX900 and the HVX/DVX for handheld...

The DVX100 has a square lens hood, the HVX has a 16x9 lens hood. The HD100 is small, a little bit longer than the XLH1, (I saw it at the CCC showing here in Chicago), a battery pack and matte box will make it a little bigger. This is what the camera looked like. I could be wrong on the HD100 but minus the Matte Box size and shape were there, but I know that was an HVX I saw them giving to fans to shoot the trick to show there were no wires, mirrors, ect.
