Ash Wedenesday Movie Trailer

Ok, here's my deal.. This is the second trailer I have seen on dvxuser that makes me FEEL something for the characters involved.. This and The Faithful are just so good in their story telling, that I stopped watching for a certain look, or feel, or framing, or lighting.. .. you can get away with so much "look" wise, but if your content sux, then you're fu@#$d....
Hollywood trailers are all the same.. BANG, BOOM, STARS, CRANE SHOTS, Helicopter shots... Don't get me wrong.. I like those movies.. But sometimes the more rustic, amateurish, gritty looking films are the best!
Great Job.. I do agree with removing the titles, the action moves to quickly for me to stop and read.. When you have a mood, dialog is sometimes unnecessary..

Justin, Pawky,
WOW!
Thanks for your comments!
I agree that if your content sux, well, you know... I say this because I was watching the trailer for Babel (brad pitt, Inarritu, gael garcia, etc.) and I was blown away by the story, that even if brad wasn't there, I'd still go see it... it looks like it'll be an amazing flick...
Thanks again for your comments, and the best of luck to y'all!

Hello from Texas!
I was wondering if any of you guys and gals could check my website and my trailer.
I just updated my site with a cool and short SWF intro, and I need to see if it works...
The trailer has been updated with some color correction and some sound adjustments.
I appreciate your time and comments!
Thanx!
Sincerely, Ricardo Mendoza.

Let me start off by saying that the trailer was cut well. 2 shots that I liked was when the women was praying and the jail scene. Looks nice keep up the nice work.

The deal was to have a short teaser but it was a matter of SIZE or QUALITY... I chose size. 3MB for a quick load time...
It also has sound, I didn't realize it looked kinda weird without sound...
But thanx for takin' a look at it!
Ricardo Mendoza

Unfortunately, I have no screenings as of yet.
We are still waiting on film festivals / distributors...
We have sent screeners to the above mentioned with absolutely no word.
As of now, we are just waiting and working on other projects...
But as soon as there's news I'll post an update... hopefully soon. :-D
