Want to buy item on here, how to protect myself?

Saw item on here that I'd like to buy, but unlike amazon or ebay, I can't see my seller's reputation. How do you insure you don't get hustled in the dvx marketplace?

I would run your transaction through PayPal. They will at least cover you up to $500.

Check all of their old thread to see if they have sold anything before. Then check with the buyers.

Maybe you could ask them for their EBAY username. Check his/her rating and contact the seller through the EBAY Messaging system as a confirmation measure.

If the seller is legit he shouldn't be bother with this. It's fair to the customer.
