Memento

I still haven't seen Memento. I do like like Following and Batman Begins. Insomnia isn't nearly as good as the original.

Wait

Guy Pearce was in Empire of the Sun ?
Lol, I haven't slept for 2 days.:zombie_smiley: I think Guy Pearce played the kamikaze pilot. .... .... Machinist not Memento. Both great films.

i didn't it either. The whole thing feels like it should be building up to something, all the clues, the tattoos, the b&w subplot, but then has nothing to do with any of it. Bad screenwriting.

I happen to think this flick is fantastic.

On the special edition DVD you can watch the movie forwards. While it isn't as good, I think it still stands up.

I didn't know that it was filmed in 14 days. That's astonishing to me- it just goes to show you how tight a production can be run.

Because no one ever thought to reverse the timeline - There are alot of great inventions that are great because of its simplicity: The wheel. whats so great about it? Its round. Anyone could have done that, but someone actually did it

Betrayal????

Ever watch that. Plus there's that Seinfeld episode as a spoof of betrayal. Been done before - though Memento was much better than Betrayal LOL.

It's one of my fav movies, too. I think the dichotomy of it's simplicity (story) and complexity (storytelling) make it so intriguing that you can't help but to be sucked in and entertained. In a time where it seems that Hollywood has run out of ideas, 'Memento' was a huge breath of fresh air.

I really enjoyed Memento. I thought the plot, acting, dialogue were fantastic. This movie is in my top 5 but to each his own...
