"Bloody Mary: A nightmare Collaboration by Mark Harris and Timur Civan"

Yea the make up was a big deal on this. we are doing minimal Computer generated effects. the only thing we did in computer was one brief Green screen shot. We wanted to get the effects to a point where the actors can react to a real walking thing. not a mock up or a stand in. i want that person to talking to the charachter infront of them.

Yeah, I hope they have the effect we want on the audience. Nina said tht one of our things looked scarier in real life than it did in the rough. But regardless, I think the make-up effects really served the story perfectly. It was a good match of me writing something down and giving it to Timur to interpret visually with his sculpture/art background.

Quick update:

We are in post now. the edit is nearly ready. I've been taking feedback from various trusted sources.

Also working with Herman, the composer on getting the score settled. He's provided some amazing stuff.

Next is the looping and there are two small compositing shots to do.

Oh, and one small scene left to shoot this Friday.

I will post some more grabs and BTS stuff later on tonight.

Maybe we did shoot HVX, SCARY....You never know...

But that is a photo from the trip to the massage parlor. We just took an HVX there with us too.
 
ACtually that grab of mark is an HVX. but i believe we were demonstrating how bad an image you can possibly make on Video. 12DB gain, under a dim red light.... in DV
