Slimothy-Blaine-khmuse -Thou Shalt Not-

Yeah, we are lucky and have some impressive talent for this project. Miko, David and Robert's work is well know, and Nathan is one of the finest actors I have ever had the privilege to watch work. The three ladies are the results of nearly 1500 submissions and a serious sorting / audition process.

Our talent are all professionals and I have nothing but respect for the final cast decisions. Now it is up us lowly filmmakers to live up to their potential. I hope not to embarrass myself.

The fun begins in less than 24 hours...

Great looking cast! Love the title. Looking forward to finding out which of the commandments they break! Or do you squeeze them all in 6 minutes?

First night, in the can. Or in the deck.

I'm barely able to stand.

Tim, straight home to the computer...I'm impressed. I had to get some sleep first (4 hours). As Tim pointed out we have the first day out of the way. I haven't seen the playback yet, but if it looks as good as it did on the monitor, I'm going to be really happy.

Everyone stepped up, did a great job, and kicked ass. We didn't quite finish all we wanted. But then we were in the shake out process, getting to know each other and what not. Traffic affected almost everyone (so we started a little late), but now they're captives so that won't be problem today. We're starting a little earlier today, and based on how things went during the second half of last night's shoot, I have every confidence we're gonna be able to wrap on time, with perhaps some extra shots.

Day two-done.

Finished everything we needed to. Footy was looking pretty damn good.

One last day, and it starts in a couple of hours, so I'd better check my eyelids for holes.

Tim.

Day Three done. Time to look at the footage and decide if we need a couple of pickup shots. We had a lot of fun with this one. I cannot wait to see it cut together.

Okay, I realize that you're looking for more, regarding bts, but here's a shot from Saturday night's shoot.

BTS1.jpg

This is during rehearsal at Emma Jean's Holland Burger (from Kill Bill 2). In the very back is DVXUser's own Dave Concannon. In front of him is Miko Hughes. Next is David Chien, our AD. In the back in the red shirt is our director, Tim Hyten (Slimothy) and at the front is Nathan Johnson. It's real...it's happening...and we're starting the editing process tomorrow.
