Selecting P2 Slot for downloading?

Hello,

Is there a way to select which P2 card to download? When I put the camera into the 1394 Device mode, only one P2 card shows up on the desktop. I have to turn off the camera and put it into the Device mode a 2nd time for both P2 cards to show up on the desktop. Is this standard operating procedure, or is there some way to get both P2 cards to show up on the desktop when first putting the camera in 1394 device mode?

Are you on a Mac or PC? If you're on a PC you should never use 1394 Device mode, use USB Device instead, and both card slots will show up in Windows Explorer.

If you're on a mac you can use Disk Utility to mount your other P2. That works for me.

So, just one P2 card showing up on the desktop in 1394 Device mode is typical; I am not doing something wrong?

As far as I know thats just how it works sometimes...Once I started to mount the P2 in disk utility it would show both cards on the desk top most of the time but not all of the time. I've noticed some people say use the USB port but haven't done that yet.
