Received my USA 100B from Newegg last night

I've ben client from newegg since 3/21/2003 and let me tell you once you now newegg you will never stop buying from them
the fastest order prosecing, the best RMA departament, I didnt knew that they sale prosumer camcorders ( I used to buy computer parts because I built my owns PC's ) I was looking to get an Panasonic AG-DVC30 and i was reading the review at CNET and in the shoping links like a dreem come true it was newegg, I bought it right away got my rebate from panasonic waranty just perfect .
just few days ago I have sole my AG-DVC30 to get my AG-DVX100B from newegg of course is the only way to go for me so I highly recomend them :thumbup:
 
newegg reliable and cheap for other things besides the camcorder? I need a new external hd for all the footage i'm shooting!

I buy all my PC hardware from NewEgg, with the exception of a few things from Macmall.com. Just got an internal SATA (Raptor) drive at Newegg fairly recently and no issues.
 
I got 2 LaCie Porsche external hard drives (250GB) for $125.00 at NewEgg. They process orders incredibly fast and are always reliable. I am surprised more people here don't swear by them... seems like everywhere else on the internet they are the most popular by far.

Are their DVX's legit? What does DVX199BMBK mean? $2,849.99 (after rebate) is the absolute lowest price I have seen from a good company. I can't believe that price tag.

That's what I'm saying. I have a 100a at home, but it looks like I'll be adding a B to my collection tonight if the goodies are included.

I haven't gotten my rebate yet, but the status online lists my check as "in process" for the amount of 350 bucks.

I spoke with the person in charge of rebates the minute I got the camera and had her confirm that I had a valid USA serial.

The difference between the "M" version and the "BPS" version is ONLY the software. The M one had the software in the box and the newer BPS has the rebate in the box along with the software request info.

The rebate directly in the box is also a sign of a valid camera.
 
I am ordering one tonight, but i am worried they will take too long to process the rebate... it ends the 30th. Eh?
 
Just make sure you send out your rebate at or before the 30th. It states on the rebate form that as long as it's even post marked on or before that date, you're good to go.

Correct. Everyone, PLEASE do not publicize the web address for filing for the rebate. Panasonic has asked that it not be made public because scammers took advantage of it last time the website was publicly available.
