I thought it was going to be some Resident Evil shiet. But I'll still check it out. LOL. Thanks for the heads up.

your footage looks good...except I was hoping to see more fists. ;)
The girl is beautiful too!

Great lighting - compositions!
Was there a reason you used a lower shutter speed on the footage?

Hmm, didn't think anyone would notice! Actually I did many tests and I wanted the extra UMPH of light so I wouldn't have the ZERO Depth OF Field that most people with an adapter have, and I thought it worked really well! I was a 1/24th for 99%

Good EYE!

I understand the need for extra DOF, I've used the adapter, too. It's just my personal taste - the slower shutter speeds make the footage look like frame blended, interlaced footage. But then, everything in this business is subjective. :) I loved your lighting & camera work, though!

I see the slow shutter effect in much more expensive shows, too. Can anyone say "Miami Vice" or "Battlestar Galactica?" So maybe it's not such a big deal.

It was a small sacrifice for the extra exposure.. In some of the handheld stuff it's a bit more noticeable.. The majority of the people that will view the film will never know..

Also, it became more of a nice feel throughout the film, rather than something we didn't want.. Miami Vice was a good example, but from what I saw it screamed VIDEO, our film trys to maintain a nice HD/Film look.. But it's all about personal taste..

Thanks for the comments, and once again, GOOD EYE..

Well man, I'd have to say that you may want to work on shot composition for you future stuff. It didn't necessarily look bad, but nearly every shot had your subject almost dead center of frame, no matter which direction they were facing.
Looks like you'll have yourself an interesting final product, though. Sounds like you had a pretty sweet setup for this... I sure would like to play with some Zeiss Superspeeds! Keep up the good work.

Really love the look of those Zeiss primes. I hope to sell some clients on using them with the HVX and Brevis (when their PL mount becomes available, which I understand will be soon). Very nice. I thought the composition looked fine, especially for the mood you were setting.

lol, quick to judge a feature by 1 min of footage...

And yes, the setup was quite sweet, and nerve racking!

Maybe? I have no idea who he is to be honest.. We had a slew of local rappers that made cameos, so anything is possible..
