Matching the Texas Chain Saw Massacre

I'll read that again later when I have more time to digest it, but it isnt so much the green I am concerned about, just the fact that I'm used to Photoshop's Levels and Curves controls.

I'm used to doing my black crushing with a histogram as opped to sliders with names that I dont understand. Unless there's a hidden histogram I can F with. And the curves I'm sure I can adjust too with a little time and experimentation, I just haven't had the time yet.

As far as how new to Vegas I am, I've had it maybe about 6 months, but all I've had time to do is capture. I had tried editing, but wasnt picking it up quick enough for the time I had at themoment to experiment. I'll certainly get into that more later. And then I briefly experimented with rendering so I could post some clips on the web. I have only touched on the basics.

I did play around a little and came up with this:

I was just foolin and dont remember what I did, but I think I'll try it again and apply it to a whole fight segment. I think it would look cool.

I just need more time.

Thanks, and I'll reread your post later.

one thing i've noticed with pro footage and non pro footage is the pro's are not
afraid to have the screen's brightness lower. Sometimes we screw with the Iris just to make sure the shot isn't too dark, but I think if we just put a little more time and
didn't make it over bright it would help out. (just what i've been thinking)

nate, I completely agree, I dont completely understand how you are applying it to this discussion. I an on my phone right now so browsing the whole thread isn't so easy.
