i know that there is not alot of info on the dvc80 but i was wondering if anyone knew where some good info on this camera is? or if anyone has an insight on this camera?
i am really wanting to know what kind of quality the pictures are. and pretty much all aspects of the features and ease of use?
thanks so much before hand

Ive had my dvc80 since 2004 and i love it. everything is the same as the dvx100. the dvc80 dont have 24 but everything else is there. great picture and the controls make the cam user friendly and the audio records fantastic.

I didnt even know there was a DVC80. If it was as much as the DVC30 or comparable, I would get it, but the price difference between that and the DVX100 isnt worth the 80 to me.

the 80 was between the 30 and the 100 and yes the dvc80 is worth the money. ive shot video with my 80 and my friends xl1s side by side and my 80 had better video.

I have both a DVX-100 and a DVC-80....same camera ,only the DVC-80
does not shoot 24p and also I like it more because it's black like the NEW
DVX100b.....
Once in a while you see some DVC-80's for sale over E-bay...you could
get a good deal on those.

I forgot to say that the DVC-80 also does not record in 30p...
The Zoom scale distance does NOT show in the LCD screen nor
the Manual Focus scale number like in DVX-100...
This is important to me when I shoot with 2 cameras 3-D Stereo.
Cesar.

If somebody is interested in a DVC-80 in excellent condition.
I put mine for sale or trade in the Market Place section.
Thanks.
Cesar.
