Looks like you are using Motion for your explosions. Check out www.detonationfilms.com for some AWESOME explosions. I did some Star Wars stuff on a skit found here ( http://www.firsthourmovies.com/Videos/truestorymed.mov ) all in Final Cut and Motion.

Also, watch the smoke on your explosions. The camera moves, but the effect does not. The effect should move off of the camera. Were you planning on rotoscoping the lightsaber? It would look great, especially with some sound fx.

Thanks -- yes, sound effects are coming up too. Plus lightsaber effects.

Noticed the blast effect being a mess... actually fixed that in a later version, but didn't have time to post. Yes, motion. Ugh.
