So the CC was done with FCP's CC tool? The 3-way or the other?

3 way. Great way to crush the blacks, bring out lost image, and give the film it's own color.
Maybe not the best way, but it works.

ANy tips on donig horror stuff?

There are a lot more on our site www.randomcreatureface.com including a feature we are just finishing.
As for doing the horror thing, I actually practice by emulating different styles I have already seen to see what works and what doesn't within my own style. When I shoot a quicky short like Kill Your Killer, I can experiment with shooting and editing and figuring out what works in a horror movie without putting a lot at stake. If I fail, well, shoot another one and try something else. Like I said ealier, I thought this one was not going to come together at all because I missed things during production. Also, just try to capture what it is in a certain horror movie you like so much, whether it be the cinematography, the visceral scoring, or the pacing. These are three things I tried to work on in this last film. Granted the film itself isn't entirely original, I was ok with that, because it helps me later on when I do make something that is original and different. You just have to do it and mess around. See what works. With that said, something every horror movie needs is good sound. This is a must.
