What is Next for sony in HD or HDV?

Man. People are getting all tied in a knot for no reason. Lets get back to the topic shall we?

Right, so the next prosumer camera from Sony is likely going to be announced at IBC. Any idea whether Panasonic or JVC have similar plans?

I read maybe $2,000 for this. Will Sony A1U and the V2100?
 
I would love if sony decided to jump in the market with the proffesional CMOS that Silicon is taking. One huge 2/3 CMOS sensor with my favorite 60i would be pretty fun.

I'll believe it when I see it (new Sony HDV cams). I keep hearing about rumors, and all of them seem to be false. Esp. that picture we all saw of the FX1 replacement--total photoshop job from what I hear.

ps-if you need a camera now, buy one. if you don't, relax and wait. You'll see something cool, I'm sure, in the next 7 months (how's that for playing it safe, lol).
