one more question...what lighting eqipment did u use. Thanks, you are truely a great music video filmmaker. I seriously think you will be doing big videos. All the BEST.
 
Almost lightning was Kinoflow. It's easier in B&W 'cause you can easily mix FLuo and tungsten lights. We had 1 1Kw Tungsten, 2 Kino 60, 2 kino 120 and 6 tungstne 500w. The 1Kw was used just a few time. Almost shots used just kinos and 3/4 500w.

at first i thought i was in the dvx footage section... the whole time i watched that i was stunned at the quality and definition...

i was depressed to then learn that it was the hvx (only because i own a dvx) in any case, that video ruled and i cant wait to see more

I'm no expert but I imagine you could make such an effect by taking four shots, each with a band member in the foreground and the rest of the band in the background and using something like a Cube Spin transition in FCP to simply transition between them.

It's very nicely done in the video.
 
yeah man video is dope and i havent even finished it!!! i have some slow net. either way cuts looks great the quick cut of the band fading in from black was dope im gonna like this. great job ill see if it finished buffin yet. props
 
Wow, that was very very good! I thought the cuts were great and the band is good too. That's half the battle. Getting your singers to lip sync their words without looking fake. Your guys did an awesome job. Great EFX too!
 
WOW that is one of the best music videos I've ever seen. Their music is awesome and I love your editing and lighting very original in the way you did it! What country are you from? Also is there a website for the band that I can visit? I am going to pass that video on to my boss at the company I intern at - he was a producer at one of the top music video production companies in Canada and he'd probably like it! Take care though and once again, EXCELLENT work!
