ncje - i love your rendition of cc! i guess you're using fcp with motion - i've only got premiere pro...i have after effects lying around but i havent got around to learning how to use it yet, not that i'll have much time to learn. got some major exams coming soon. BLT'll be doing the bulk of the raw editing, i'll just be doing the cc and polishing up his cuts.

On that matter i found out a great way to speed up long distance edits if anyone hasn't thought about it yet: if both parties have the source files we just bump the save files to each other.
 
Oh yeah. My computer's probably too slow to handle the finer points of editing that arent just sequencing and basic FX. Haha Mal - Gotta get effects started up soon for muzzle flashes. I'm pretty sure there's some tutorial or something lying around somewhere on this site. I hope David's filming of the Countdown Prequel goes okay...

Saw that already. Problem with that is that you have to use the set preset muzzle flashes they provide. For this case I think we need to make whole new muzzle flashes which are completely in-sync with the gun trajectory and angles. And therein is where the problems lie haha...

Hahaha really? Gosh.. I take that as a compliment cuz we're all under 17. Wish we were past 30 though. Would love to work with older cast who actually look the part of a genuine SWAT guy or detective rather than a bunch of kids trying to pretend to be twice their age.

Sigh, regarding my production......

in the middle of it, cops came and raided my location...
My gun replicas were too real.. (plastic musical vibrating guns sprayed black)

Well, my cast of 30 actors, 12 crews... 7 cars and tons of other logisitic stuff, they all went... . . . o well.

I'm gonna sleep now and hope tml will b a better day.
Will post some screengrabs later of what i've got.
