Looking for place to stay at IBC

Hey all,
turns out that I'm available to attend IBC this year. But I'm on extremly short notice and I'm looking for a place to stay. I don't yet know which days/nights I'll be there.

Anyone have any sugestions? Any hidden secrets? Or perhaps someone looking to save a buck and split a room & bill?


I look forward to seeing many of you there, and of course some nice pictures from a certain camera. :)

Yeah yeah, I've allready got the "places that charge by the hour" jokes.

IBC is in Amsterdam, Netherlands

I don't know if I will see RED footage. I really hope to. :grin:
I have a funeral to attend on Frday, so I'll probably get to IBC on Saturday at about 11:00 - which is when the last scheduled RED event at the D-cinema is. However it's not listed as "Free" on the schedule, so I'm not really sure yet.

The first reactions and news I will get here on 'user with everyone else.


The whole trip is very last minute.

Yes. She passed away peacefully yesterday evening with her husband at her side after I made it back and had a chance to spend a good few hours with her during the day.

I am sorry Mikko... I am glad it was peaceful... may she rest in peace.
