"Bloody Mary: A nightmare Collaboration by Mark Harris and Timur Civan"

I just delivered some of the prosthetics to Timur, who is now going to do his magic on them. I guess we'll find out tonight if this whole idea will work. But I think it will.

Also, getting final costumes today, and rehearsing a couple of the actors for a scene with some heavy choreography.

Also today doing some mundane stuff like taking Timur's storyboards and breaking them down into shot lists by location/cast/times. We are going to set-up some scenes and pre-light tomorrow night, so that tues morning we can hit the ground running with the shoot. Yikes! We shoot this week!!!!!!

im having a panic attack....... lol

It's gonna be GREAT. Now I have a good handle on the schedule and the pre-prod is nearly done - and that after a hungover post Man-Hole screening day, no less!

If it makes things better I'll let you cover Rachel in vasoline again. :)

Well, I can always let you grease up one of the other girls, you know, just for fun...:)

So today we are dressing the set and tonight pre-lighting for tomorrow's shoot.

We have a kick-ass crew, with many of the usual suspects turning out for this one.

Wish us luck!

Good luck! Have a great shoot!

Day 1 down. And we were ahead of schedule so actually grabbed two shots from tomorrow's shoot!

And there were elements I had some doubts about, not because I thought we couldn't do them, but because I hadn't seen them done yet. But everything, from the make-up to other special effects, to the camera work, came out exactly as planned.

And the hours of rehearsal I spent with our lead paid off, because she was able to hit every beat over and over again.

Good shoot today Timur!!!!!

"Did you bring the tapes?" I know I was mad, but I laugh about it now. If only we had BTS footage for that moment... :)

:):)

Also, want to welcome to the team, FlintMI, you know that loud-mouthed SOB who's always getting in trouble around here? Maybe that's part of why we love him so much...

In addtion to production support on previous shoots, FlintMI provided a great song for my last short. He's a multi-talented bonus to the team.

Don't drink too late tonight, bastid!

thanks man, i have a pack of 5 next to my car keys, phone, glasses and medication..... ( jk about the medication)

This folks is why it pays to triple check things.... For example did you bring tapes?

eh, I decided not to go out, even though the bar is right next to my house. I gotta get some rest. this weekend was a mess with the crash, the movie premiere, and everything else. ugh.

see you all in a few hours.

Comair is one of my clients and one my pilots died in the KLEX crash. Don't know if the other is going to make it.

not to make light of the current subject ... but you guys can still use my crane if you need it / want it .... Mark it's like the 35mm adaptors - easy learning curve and once you try it you'll love it.

Thanks Jack, I think we are knee deep in it now though, and won't have time to come over and get it. We'll rig something, most likely Timur hangning from the ceiling like a bat! :)

Day Two here we come!

Stop bitching. One death on set is totally worth the bad-assed footage we got today.
