It's time to go back to school and that means I have to sell some of my summer toys in order to pay for stuff I actually need, like premium vodka, cheap beer, and expensive sunglasses.
First up for sale is a beta (pre-production) unit of the indiFOCUS. 235 Studios sold it to me earlier this year, but I never used it because I never bought a rail system to which to attach it.
It seems to work well to me, but I never actually used it so I can't say for sure what I think of it. But the craftsmanship is good, if a bit uneven (aesthetics mostly; it's a pre-production unit) and it should work great for whoever gets it. Plus, it's a real, aluminum follow focus for $125. Cheap.
A few notes:
It doesn't come with the gears necessary to use it with a 35mm adapter, but I believe these are availible seperately. It uses a foam wheel instead.
Obviously it's not up to par with the high end units I've used with the mini35 and while shooting 16mm, but uhh...it's pretty good for the price and the extra precision those units buy you aren't as necessary with the dvx's stock lens. It's pretty well designed and smooth, too.
So PM me with any questions or offers, or reply to this thread or whatever. I'm not picky. Personally, I think this is a pretty good price but I'm open to offers since I go back to school in five days and I need money.
Oh, and I took lots of photos:
So respond/PM me/whatever and, if you're interested, hopefully we can work something out.
