just keepin things updated. made this little clip to kind determine the look and feel of the horror film project im starting. This is my first big project so im just making sure i do things right.

Heres a sample of my idea of the look

thanks alot you guys for the comments, thats why DVXuser is so AWSOME. I used AE and just curves,levels,saturation.

pretty cool look, test it on human objects as well maybe it doesn't work so good on people. clouds shot looks really nice as well
 
it should look okay, based on the highlights in your footage, on people, as long as they are lit quite alot. But then again it really depends on the look you want for them as well.
 
It looks great. I love the outside of the shack. The rust on the swingset looks really good. Looking forward to seeing more.

Also, what's the scene file look like for those shots?
 
Did you shoot that on a 100a or b? that time lapse of the sky/field looks great. If you used a 100b did you just run a tape for all its worth and speed it up in post?
 
Hey dude, that look is very nice. Was that just the light from outside?

Did you amp the contrast? The noise fits the scene perfect.

And it looks like 100b footage. I may be wrong.
 
Really Cool Footage! Settings look great! Love the snarling breathing. And the time-lapse came out very nice.

So, spill it! We've all asked the questions!!!

And, oh! I imagine this is work you are doing for Horrorfest... is there a title of your project?

If not, it probably has something to do with the HorrorFest short film contest and the Fabu grand prize.

Right, but you could post experiments if you like. I know that I am a new user of the dvx and I have been experimenting. Some fun stuff.

Besides, even if xep5k isn't working on a horrorfest entry, I am sure that many are and were drawn by the title. Thus by causing creating all of the comments about the horror.

With all of the talk of horrorfest on this site lately, I really thought that everyone must know about it.

My bad.
