San Francisco HVX Meeting?

BAVC has lots of lighting. If you have some LED lights, those would be cool to look at to see what kind of output you get.
 
take the 280, should only be about an hour like that. i take the 280 home from san jose 5 days a week at 5pm. takes about 45 minutes to get to South San Francisco

Count me in. I've been wanting to get acquainted with multi cam setup shoots on the HVX. Funny story for everyone. I started reading this post yesterday, then come in to work today and find out I work with konton. Ha!!
My baby arrives on Monday, so a meetup seems like a perfect place to start geeking out.:shocked:

thats pretty odd! would have been better if you two were flaming eachother on the boards all the time and didnt like eachother, then found out you were actually working together! Be interesting!
 
Would be interested in getting together and just talking about the damn thing. We have not been able to explore all that it has to offer here at my job. Plus our Firestore just went down, would like some feedback about alternatives, P2, Cineporter, FCP Direct. Live in the East Bay so it would have to be after 5pm if possible?
 
Does anyone have a copy of Barry's book they can bring to the meeting?

I'm David Brown and i currently just moved to San Francisco and wanted to know if i could attend your event on August 30th at 7:00PM at the BAVC. I am seriously considering purchasing the HVX200 and would like to see what it is capable of up close and in person. Also i would like to meet people who share the same hobbies as me around this area.

Sometimes no one actually brings a camera, so feel free to bring along your equipment. FYI, BAVC has an HVX now.

Dillon: Will the HVX be out on assignment, or around for us to demo?
 
count me in. should I bring my HVX, or will it just get in the way of everyone else bringing theirs??? (I've never been to a DVXuser meeting)
 
We will have our HVX there with its gear on it and ill have a Macbook Pro there with an SD card reader if anyone has any Scene files to share.
