great composition and CC. you should post the clips. i'm very interested to see how they move rather than just seeing a grab.

I really like the colours of hte originals. Just more of a pop to them. There CC'd ones look too washed out without any sort of detail. Maybe just try darkening and bumping contrast on the raws? Dunno, just my opinion!

Thanks for the comments everyone!! ha ha the Llamas are still there! BTW i love the devils rejects. Thats actually the movie were i got the look for the shots, theres going to be a major blood fest in those shots right next to lucas property ha ha and dj200423 i swear its dvx footage. I forgot to mention that i shot it letterboxed on my stock DVX and just exported cropped at 720x365 =)

Ah big rock! The twisty section leading up to that is a blast to ride.

I like the framing of your images. But I think the colors look a little too gray and washed out in the CC shots.

To me the color corrected shots look somewhat flat. Maybe add some contrast. The raw shots look very filmish. :)

It looks like you bumped up the sharpness or detail to much, there is haloing around the rock and around the fence. The original has a great look to it.

Wow! The grabs look great! (both raw and cc'd) Did you shot this with a 35mm adapter or it was just the dvx with a little tweaking?

I like what Hectorxd had done with the grabs. Very stylized and definitely looks like a horror flick to me lol.

Thanks I did it in Vegas. I think I applied night filter first. Than black and white 50%. And I added a glow and messed around with the glow settings to get the clouds to pop out. I cant remember if I messed with gamma or not on that one.

Nice shots! The corrected shots are supposed to be night shots are they not? Looks good. What did you use to colour correct these shots with (system-wise)?

The night filter you used, is it already within Vegas or is it an additional plugin you bought/installed? I keep looking at the grabs and oh my, I never thought colour correction could drastically change the mood/feel of a picture. It is something I've yet to explore when I'm composing my shots.

The night filter comes with vegas. It is under video fx > Color Curves > Night. I havent got any additional plugins except magic bullet. I did use a little magic bullet on the second pic but the first was regular vegas. Its such a great shot to work with. I cant believe that image came straight from the camera though. Looks like some contrast was added first. or some gamma correction.

Oh I should add in camera scene file I bumped up the detail and set gamma to CINELIKE V and matrix to CINELIKE =)
