I am in need of C-stands to do my holding of various objects while my minions are not around. What are some good cheap C-stands I can find? The minimum I've found goes for around 200 US.
Anyone got some good places they can recommend?

Aah the irony of Matthew C looking for a stand...

I've heard people have had good luck with e-bay.

Amvona on eBay

Depending on how soon you need them you should be able to get a good deal via auction or just do a buy it now. I have several, granted they are not the best in the world but not too bad. Worth the price.

Just make sure you get the Amvona stands via eBay and not directly from their site. Much cheaper via eBay. I have 3 of their C-stands and really dig them.

What prices did you guys pay for your amvona C stands. I've been trying to hold out for an $80.00 XL C Stand with grip arm. Anyone get one for around that?

I 've paid about 45$ to a high of about 80$ including shipping. Have 2 c-stands only, 2 c-stands with the grip arm and 2 grip heads, and 2 c-stands with boom and sandbag. It's getting harder to win these at the low prices as they have become noticed a bit.

The most I paid was $94 shipped. Think I got the other two for quite a bit less. All with the grip arms. As Cryo said, they're harder to get cheap now, but it can be done. I get all my light stands from a seller called 2dreammaker, fyi.
