1,8/4,5-45 + x0.7 wide = ? (DVX wide?)

Hello everyone!

Iam new here, but a long time reader.
I have decided to buy the DVX100b (after reading tons of topics about this camera and seeing a lot of stills)

But i have an important quistion:

My camcorder (trv60) has a 1,8/4,5-45 lens and i use a x0.7 wide conversion lens. But even with the wide conversion lens, i still find it rather narrow...

The DVX100(b) has a wide angle lens from itself. So it wil be wider than my camcorder. BUT: Is the DVX100 still wider than a 1,8/4,5-45 lens + x0.7 wide lens?

I cannot wait to test it when i got my DVX100b its fital that i know it before i get one. So i was hoping that someone here is smarter and more experienced than i, and can tell me if the DVX100b is wider.. or not!

Real tiny, tiny?

Because the trv60 has real widescreen recording, because of the useless megapixels for photorecording. So when you switch to widescreen mode, he uses the extra megapixel space to cut out a 16:9 frame. The image is a whole lot wider than! So i suppose, that when i combare 16:9 recording+wide angle on my camcorder, to the DVX100.. the DVX100 wil loose?
