Just finished shooting this footage this weekend (monday) I was the DP, Camera Operator, and Co-Director on this project.

Thought I would share some of the early stills. Would have loved to try out one of the lens adapters on the HVX, but we couldn't swing it with our measly budget, still I'm very pleased with what we got...

And what have you been up to since, are you now directing music videos and such?

I gave a seminar at WEVA in 2003 and 2004, haven't been doing any weddings for quite some time now, but I was selling a reel of work and a full length edit for people to view. I'm thinking of selling them again...

First off, I really like the images. And while it would have been nice to have an adapter, I'm sure, you obviously do not need one. Everything works well together- nice job.

Care to talk about the settings you used- did you just crank up the saturation? It looks like you used a polarizer, and maybe a ND or ND grad in some of the exterior shots.

I just boosted the chroma, raised the coring, lowered the detail, slapped a polarizing filter on the front and did a bit of CC. A little more than half the images have a bit of CC. Some have no CC.
