Hi Barry and Jan, please answer me this:

I have purchased my HVX200 about december last year ( when I did Pay $US 9.990 to Veryte in Miami) and I received the camera in April this year !!!

I steel be eligible for Barry's book from panasonic??
 
I don't recognize that dealer as being an Authorized dealer. Contact me offline with the serial number and model number as written on the underside of your viewfinder and will let you know. The free book is for Authorized US product only.

Sorry, have been very busy, the serial number you posted is not in the group of numbers i have, but have asked Japan for verification, they may have not sent the entire group, hopefully thet will respond before they leave for Golden Week(vacation). Please note, that while I am happy to check serial numbers for those that wish to take chances and buy from unauthorized sources, it is not always possible to do this on demand. So as soon as I know I will respond to you message.

In the meantime, I really would prefer that folks would purchase from authorized sources, be it a DVX or an HVX.

I also realize that JPL NASA is a multi-billion dollar government organzation that would have enough money to hire a professional web designer to design a unique, good-looking layout.
