Africa! In 24P...

Naaa FatDaddy, I just copied and paste.
Yes please. We need a lot of the behind the scenes pictures to have a feel of your experience.

Thanks for the post xilix...!

Long but interesting!

I agree...looking forward to anything you have to add about shooting internationally FatDaddy! This was my first foray into shooting overseas and it was definitely a steep learning curve in certain ways.

Makes you realize how nice it is to be able to just run to Best Buy whenever you realize you need something...a little more difficult to do in Africa! :)

Thanks guys!

Also, I will be editing all day tomorrow on the rest of the Africa video so I will try and post some more clips as I get sections finished.

Later.

I liked it but felt it was lacking something. Perhaps it's the music. It's being used to often. Perhaps use something a little less loud?

Oh and. Don't post your video on myspace. Once you do, they own it. I would use stickypod. It's better than nothing.

Nice video dude, the motion effects are great and the look is amazing too.. I was thinking of doing exactly the same thing for my Australia trip, but i doubt I can pull off the same thing cos you obviously got more skilz!

Wow...didn't expect to see this post get resurrected! :-D

Kyleman - It might not be playing because it requires the very latest version of Flash to play. You can download the latest plugin for free from http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW

DirectingLegend - Thanks for the info about MySpace...I didn't know that. I'll check out Stickypod in the future.

Thanks for the other comments. You can check out a few of the other sections from the video on my Myspace page which is http://www.myspace.com/danielpiatt or you can just type http://www.piattfilms.com and it will redirect you there.

I've also got a few other clips under the videos section of my page. Or, the direct links are:

Thanks for the feedback! It looks like I might be going to Indonesia next summer for a few months to do something similar...if so I'll post some when I get back.

Later.

Yeah Nollywood is very interesting. In a country where there is so much poverty sprang a movie industry mostly funded by the filmmakers and through other financing. Big reason it was unknown for so long to others. Anyways check out http://www.nollywood.net http://www.naijarules.com You also have the Kano industry. Nollywood has also inspired others to star their own movie industry.
