Trouble with the P2 Store and FCP 5.1.1

So I just bought this P2 store and tested it before I came down to Argentina where I presently am. The computer recongnizes the USB connection and 9 "NO NAME" devices appear on the desktop. However, when using FCP to import P2 data, the computer just does nothing. No spinning wheel and no window popping up. In addition, I plugged my HVX in with a card in it and the P2 import function works just fine. In my trouble shooting, I decided to plug the P2 Store in while the P2 window was open. And then when I 'rescan' for devices FCP crashes. I am 5000 miles away from home and this happens. I am so frustrated with this crap. I wish the thing worked better than it is now. I just want my footage to survive.... Anyone have a similar problem? Could it have to do with system updates?

BoulderHVX200,

Try copying the no name drives to separate folders on your HD, remember to copy all of the content in the no name drives and make sure they are in there own folders.

Unplug the p2 drive and FCP should work flawlessly. I had a similar problem until I realize that the P2 Store needs to be unpledged before P2 file import.

G-Luck.
