Tooling Around

Proud owner of new HVX200. I wanted to try the camera out so set myself the task of doing something in a day.

I deliberately didn't tinker with the camera or CC the footage etc. So this is about as raw as it gets. First lot of footage is the FLUO scene file, second lot is SPARK.

Oh, and In my haste I hadn't got round to learning about Shutter Angle vs. Speed. SO this is shot at 1/60 sec shutter. Which seems to not look quite as good as 180deg shutter.

Hope it's useful to someone...!

Very nice looking piece... even if it does have that most gratting... annoying and demasculating song of all time!... Funny piece though and easy to expand it.... I thought you'd do some fast cutting montage of the make-up and such... but sometimes its good to cut that out.

I do also think you'll really love the other shutter speeds. Especially when you have more light and can do it outside...

Thanks for joining the ranks of the converted. Thanks for showing. This CAM delivers the goods and it's friggin fun to shoot... ISN'T IT? I absolutely can't bring myself to pick up any of my tape based cams anymore... kind of like they have cooties...

This has a nice, unassuming quality to it. And beautifully underacted! I didn't even notice the scene file change, so I think you chose well.
