Eat your heart out, Whitney!

That was fukkin retarded.

I actually laughed, though. That kid's got balls to do all that yelling, screaming, and just plain idotic "acting" out in public like that.

Probably the funniest "sing along" I've seen... I usually HATE those things, but this was funny. Work on lighting, though. I realize you guys were just out and about messing around with it, but it's still a good chance to get some experience and practice technique's. Some bounce boards would have gone a long way here.

when the dude took his shirt off... funny stuff.

I absolutely loved it. My favorite parts were when random people would walk behind him in the shot. Oh, and when he felt the need to take of his shirt in three different scenes. That was classic, good job.

CHrist..u serious dude? Bad sync + average shots apart from the bit in the elevator.Had this guy been at this in my town he would of never made it to getting his shirt off.Pretty bad im afraid.Sure.

ouch. thanks noonansboy. we weren't looking for any awards here. just fun. the whole thing took about 5 hours to shoot and cut. just took a look at your posts and noticed you don't have anything nice to say to anyone, huh?

rcbrown23, maybe we'll bring out the MFing bounceboards on our next Whitney Houston spoof music video!

to everybody who enjoyed it, thanks! we love making little things like this on the fly with no preparation every once in a while. and if its fun, what else matters, eh?

It was fun, it was funny, I think it was meant to be that way.. so why the caustic response? well done Mate, that was a very funny video.. I am thinking of doing one myself soon :)

By the way when u did it, did u have a radio playing the song so you could sing in sync with Whitney?

I liked the concept and the beginning was great. It just got a little boring by the middle. Same scenes and such. I wanted him to get more and more over the top. The shirt thing was a nice touch. I wanted to see more. Get weirder and build on the idea that a skinny white dude is singing a Huston song. But great job for 5 hours.

Maybe I just hate Whitney. Pass the crack.

Great video! I laughed and that is clearly the point. The lighting could have been a little better in a few scenes (floating white t-shirt) but I may be overly critical, coming from a still photography background. I liked the artsy feel created by the greenish-blue light. Great job!

To theMacB dude. " just took a look at your posts and noticed you don't have anything nice to say to anyone, huh? ".

Well you obviously didnt go through them all mate, otherwise you would of seen my comments about the pieces I have liked. And the reason I did like them probably had something to do with the fact that they show some creativity,a story, decent characters and talent.I found none of the afore mentioned in this particular piece of work, regardless of how long or seriously it was taken.

I would post some of my own work but I doubt footage from a Canon MVX150i would go down to well here. And no i dont own a DVX yet but when i do ,you will be the first to know dude.

This is a public forum mate, so dont feel too bad when some-one doesnt like your work.I like things that make sense.Your piece didnt to me.

Composition wise, some of those shots are really good--I'm thinking lighting.

That was fun

haha Good stuff. Were those bikers in the end random strangers or part of your crew?

I'm with noonansboy on this one. If your ever gonna win a Oscar your definitely going to have to add a crane shot in there. I know "he doesn't wanna hold this passion inside" but I didn’t fully feel the motivations for the shirt coming off. Also somehow I didn’t believe he really was singing the song. (Voice sounds like a woman’s voice) Did your casting director refer this actor to you. I really think Russell Crowe or Eric Roberts would have been better in the role.

lol

Otherwise it was great, laughed more than a few time.
