Let me know what you think. I'm kind of scared of the 100 words one, lol. shot by a guy who works for a snowboard production company, its amazing. ergh. wish me luck, it would be so awesome to get that prize!

PS, there's a second entry period. i highly suggest people enter. round a few friends together and go kayaking or something, just have a good time! i know i did!

It actually seems like the pay-off is way more than the work put into the shorts (no offence at all). All I'm saying, is it's just a 30 second short and there are less than 20 competitors, and you can get $16,000 worth of equipment.

I want to enter this, but I need a good location that I can use. You're supposed to have written permission by the owner of the property. And I don't really know of an interesting location where I can get permission. I guess I'll have to get creative, but I'm not very good at that.. :) As long as the location isn't recognizable, you can use it without permission, correct? I'm thinking about this old tennis court in the woods behind some church. I guess I'll just have to do it and hopefully it will be alright.

and those release forms panasonic is providing are invaluable. check out all of them - sick. ive been looking for a while to get some and i know others on the site have as well. way to go panasonic - thanks.

I'm all over it like pixels on video.

These contests seem to be redefining what it is to make a "short". It's hard to tell a story in 576 frames...
