pcmcia to pci in g5 tower question

i have a g5 tower(dual 2.0 rev a) and it has 1 pci slot in it. and i know they make pci to pcmcia cards for towers, i found one on compusa, any one have any feedback on it?

It is my understanding that such a gadget would not work. Something to do with the cable and how the signal is structured. :crybaby:
