THis is my second bat at shooting a music video.. for some strange reason when I converted this file to make it smaller to upload the syncing of the vocals and audio is now off and on. I have to figure out how to get it to convert properly.. I am using window media converter... maybe one of you guys can help me.. anyway here is the link... http://www.sharkle.com/video/95756/ Let me know what you guys think... Ok new file the sync should be in place now I figured it out... You can now download the video so that the lip snyc is in tact with the video... http://www.filewire.com/download.php?id=3f7110481c6b844ec15a52a

It isn't particularly interesting, because there isn't a story or anything "fascinating" going on, but technically it is top-notch.

Sorry for the off lip sync but on my dvd copy it's not off.. just when I compressed the file the lip sync is off I have to try and re upload it again. So please forgive the off lip sync until I figure out the windows media encoder formula to get my video and lyrics to sync up like it is before I uploaded it.

yeah I thought that there was alot of interesting shots that could have been used better like alot of the paninng shots along that green wall and the ones that comes in from the top of the bus stop and the ones that come up from the side of the navi really catch your eye. I think those were the best parts.

I personally think some shots should have moved earlier like it would cut to the clip and then the camera would move like a couple secs after the cut i think if it was cut on the action it would flow a little better.

But overall i thought it looked amazing i really like editing so that why i talked about it. i thought quality looked amazing am looking into getting a dvx and hope i will be able make quality looking video look as good as what u just did. did u use any extra lens or anything?

yeah quality looked great. I liked the panning shot of the suv and then changing up the prospective to the guy sitting at the bus stop. I think if you had a jib with some ariel shots would be a nice contrast to the shots you have so far.

What's the name of the group and the song? I liked it.

Hey man, my favorite shot is the interior shot with the women dancing around the dude sitting down, with the stripper pole and i think there was a pool table in the back. You got some nice slow mo shots on that part.

The song had a nice story to tell, are those guys signed on a label?

I only used a UV lens and I just bought a camera crane so this is actually my first time using one also. And it's my second practice video for $500.
Yeah I'm still learning man. Only had my DVX for like 1 month and a half. Yeah I will probably re edit this to have it fow a little smoother on action cuts. That would make it more ineresting your right on the money. Thanks

Actually that is exactly what I thought about is going out getting some arial shots and plugging them in with a re-edit but so far the artist is like family and he loves the video. But I'm still learning. Thanks for the advice bro.

Thanks, the rapper is independent on his own label and the singer is currently working on an album. The rapper is shopping his album now for distribution. Just wants to add videos with most of his songs. So i have alot of work cut out for me. I'm actually in a area with alot of artsts and no one shooting videos so people have been lining up after seeing the quality of these first two videos.
